Grateful

It's one of my favourite emotions. Kind of leaves you feeling all fuzzy and warm. With being grateful comes contentment, another aaaahhhh emotion. They bring with them a feeling of peace and comfort.

Every night I sit down in my chair, read a book watch TV, or browse the internet, while my husband is downstairs watching his TV programs contentedly and my kidlets are tucked up in bed. I am in my house, which we bought, which we are so fortunate to have bought at the right time. Yes my house is too small, (with a huge kitchen though) and it's built on land where you wish you were a mountain goat, but it's ours! We pay $200 per week house repayments, much less than most people pay and considerably less than what rent is.

Yeah, it's humble, it's warm, it's filled with a loving family and a husband and wife who adore each other.

It doesn't get much better than that now does it?

Awwwww Jenny, that is such a wonderful post. How true. You may not have the biggest house but like you said, it's yours and it is a happy one. It's good to appreciate what we have in our hectic lives.
